Nobby - Week 16, Friday

Thursday night-Friday morning sleep was pleasant to a certain extent (dreams of untold wealth and precious gemstones until it was disrupted by a headstone and a non-existent spouse applying a facial cleanser with cucumbers. Yeah, that's guaranteed to get anyone up in a panic.

Well, after a wake-up like that, he ended up with a call from an unwanted suitor in the morning which he blew off then since his social was low, he decided to go on the computer to chat with someone and ended up having to talk to Morgana Wolff who can't seem to remember that she's married to Thornton Wolff. Do these NPC sims have ANY morals? Or is it a woohoo free-for-all? Oh, well...Nobby tends to take the high road and resists any inclination to "woohoo" anywhere. I'm sure he could be a monk if there were such a possibility for a career.

After that little bit of fun online, he decided to paint. Of course the damned phone doesn't stop ringing - he ignored it. He ended up with a "brilliant" painting and decided to sell it for some §. Got a pretty good return for it too.

Of course, even after a big sale like his painting, he still has to do mundane things like cleaning. After all, leaving something out on the table will result in really nasty odors.

You know, sometimes, you just have to get out of the damned house or you end up with cabin fever. So Nobby decided that he had enough of being cooped up in the house and to prevent himself from going stir-crazy, he decided to go to the theatre to watch a movie. He enjoyed the whole atmosphere and since he got a nice little perk of free movie tickets thanks to a Lifetime Reward of Complimentary Entertainment.

Well, bill payment time came around so he had to pay a bill of 107§ to the bill collector. Just like in real life, bills are a pain-in-the-ass. Then considering how hungry he was after the movie, he decided he'd better have something quick (canned soup). It was a debate on how tired versus how hungry he was. The stomach won. Then it was "hie to his bed" to sleep "until the morrow".
